Meet Shane.
I am a certified personal trainer in Providence with a degree in Exercise Physiology and about ten years of coaching people one at a time. Before this I spent six years in management and sales, which is a longer way of saying I have spent most of my working life figuring out what makes people follow through.

I played multiple sports growing up and kept training long after anyone was making me. Somewhere in there I noticed that the people around me who stayed consistent were not the ones with the best programs. They were the ones who had stopped renegotiating the decision every single week.
That is most of what I do now. Not handing you a harder workout, but taking the weekly argument off your plate. We decide what matters, we build a plan that fits the week you actually have, and every six weeks we look honestly at what happened and change it.
Your job is not to do more. It’s to decide fewer things repeatedly.
The part that makes this different from most training: the goal is for you to stop needing me. The industry standard is dependency, the trainer you see forever. I would rather you leave in good shape with a system you can run on your own, and send me your friend who is stuck where you were.
